I just found your site through Spring Reading - I'm Kara too and I have 4 kids - LOL!!
Good luck with the challenge - sounds like you have some great books to read.
Just as soon as I'm done partying I plan to join this as well. I am reading (listening to) Six-Point Plan for Raising Happy Healthy Children by John Rosemond. And reading by George by Wesley Stace.
I had to come over after I saw your link on the SRT page -- 5 kids and still reading. Good job!
I would love for you to join in my Read Together challenge in April. The family book club sounds interesting and I would love for you to link up and share with my readers!!
You can find some info HERE, or email me.
Wow, you've got a great list here. I love to read, too. Here are a few I've read recently and enjoyed. Maybe you'll like them, too: Never Cry Wolf by Farley Mowat. This is aimed at adults, but he's also written a number of kids' books (one called ?Owls in the Family, I think? good read-aloud book). This one is a true story of Mowat going into the way north of Canada and studying arctic wolves. If you're an animal lover, you'll probably enjoy it. Same Kind of Different as Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore, a very touching true story about a wealthy art dealer in Texas and a homeless guy he meets and befriends through work in a soup kitchen. The Jesus I Never Knew by Philip Yancey; he's an awesome writer with an interesting take on how the Jesus we think of from Sunday School was meek and tame, but the real Jesus was anything but. An intriguing book. Happy reading!
Great list -- and plenty to keep you busy this spring! I've been curious about Multiple Blessings, and I recently added Meet the Austens to my wish-list. Enjoy your spring reading, and thanks for being part of the challenge!
Fun list! I love to see what people are reading with their kids... I can see what you'll be talking about a lot this spring! LOL Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed The Shack! I have seen The Boy in The Striped Pajamas on several lists.. I really need to check it out :-0
LOVE the Princess & the Kiss!! Made me cry. I read it to one of my daughter's friends when she was like 14 because I wanted her to know her preciousness. Don't think she's realized it yet though! I'm kinda heading in the same direction with my boys. Enjoy your reading list.
Blessings,
